Fayette campus offering free life-saving course

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — As part of a nationwide initiative to teach bystanders how to provide immediate care to prevent blood loss and improve survival from traumatic injuries, Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus will offer the Stop the Bleed course from 6 to 9 p.m. April 26. Participants will learn how to stop bleeding by using dressings, compression, and tourniquets. This course is open to emergency responders, law enforcement officers, school personnel, and the general public.
