Penn State Fayette again top campus for THON fundraising

Although it is one of Penn State’s smaller campuses, Fayette’s THON team continues to dominate the Commonwealth with passion, enthusiasm and determination. This year, the Fayette campus team raised $93,943 for pediatric cancer care and research, tops among Commonwealth campuses.

Finding ways to save energy at Fayette campus

While almost every course at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus concludes with a final test, paper or project of some sort, not very many result in benefits to the environment. But by reconsidering how they live their lives over the past semester, students in Associate Engineering Professor David Meredith’s EGEE 102 class discovered ways they could cut their energy consumption.

The College of Nursing's Shirley Novosel Distinguished Nursing Alumni Award was established in 1996 in memory of Shirley Leister Novosel, a 1979 graduate of the Nursing program, who passed away in 1994.

New facility at Fayette campus offers workout versatility

Penn State Fayette has transformed a former racquetball court into a workout space dedicated to cross-trainers and multiple users. Housed in the Community Center beside the existing gym, the approximately $50,000 Cross-Training and Group Fitness Center supplements the campus’ emphasis on health and wellness, as well as its goals and initiatives toward being innovative and modern.
