If every on-campus student at University Park reduced his or her time in the shower by just five minutes, Penn State would save 100,000 gallons of water each school year. That is enough to fill five swimming pools and lower the University's carbon footprint by 18,980 pounds every year.

Grants available for rural small businesses to reduce energy costs

Time is running out for businesses in rural Pennsylvania to benefit from a special grant through the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Rural Energy for America Program designed to help agricultural producers and rural small businesses reduce energy costs and consumption and help meet the nation's critical energy needs through the Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP).

Penn State Fayette honors and serves veterans

In conjunction with national observance of Veterans Day last week, Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus held a number of events as part of its commitment to veterans, including a memorial service, a lunch for student veterans, a college application session, and a breakfast promoting a dialogue between government and community organizations to effect positive change for those who served.

Fayette campus students win award in University-wide competition

A group of student researchers from Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus won the University Libraries Award for Information Literacy’s grand prize at the 2016 Undergraduate Exposition. The exposition, held April 6, communicates and celebrates the participation of undergraduate students from across the University in research and creative endeavors.
