Corporate Communication

Corporate communication professionals see communication as a function of management: they use their oral and written communication skills to help achieve business goals. They know how and when information is best shared, and they know how to employ a variety of media to communicate strategically. Taking into consideration factors such as corporate identity, corporate reputation, or message consistency, they coordinate an organization’s internal and external communication.

Corporate communication majors at Penn State Fayette receive a cross-disciplinary coursework in business, information systems, and human behavior, and builds strong oral, written, and visual communication skills. Students acquire a foundation in business administration and complete coursework in a variety of other fields, including communication arts and sciences, English, information science and technology, and psychology. An internship prepares graduates to succeed on the job market.

Students might also consider minoring in Business, English, or Psychology to showcase the breadth of their skills.
