The Penn State Alumni Association has selected Dr. Gib Prettyman, an associate professor of English at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, to receive an Alumni/Student Award for Excellence in Teaching. In conjunction with this award, he will serve as a Penn State Teaching Fellow for 2017.

Penn State is moving toward a University-wide health insurance requirement for the 2018-19 academic school year. In preparation for the new requirement, University Health Services (UHS) will begin collecting student health insurance information in May 2017.
