At the Oct. 15 Benefit Fayette, which raised nearly $200,000, it was announced that Joe Hardy, right, had made a $100,000 donation to form the Jodi Santella Hardy Trustee Scholarship in honor of his wife, a nursing alumna of Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. The College of Nursing's Shirley Novosel Distinguished Nursing Alumni Award was established in 1996 in memory of Shirley Leister Novosel, a 1979 graduate of the Nursing program, who passed away in 1994.
The University will hold a Town Hall meeting 3-5 p.m. Sept. 28 in the Pavilion Theatre at University Park. The meeting will be livestreamed and available for all Penn State campuses to view.
“Performance speed-painter” Tom Varano reveals his canvas of John Lennon at last fall’s 50th anniversary gala at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. Varano will reprise his unique act this year for Benefit Fayette, a scholarship fundraiser slated for the evening of Oct. 15.
