On Nov. 4, American sculptor Vinnie Bagwell visited campus for a presentation of her one-third-scale maquette design of the life-sized bronze sculpture of the Rev. Lawson.

Civil Rights icon and tactician of nonviolent protest, the Rev. James Lawson Jr. joined the event remotely from his home in California.
