Update: Penn State Fayette will not enroll new students after fall 2025, but current students may continue their 2+2 pathway here through the 2026-27 academic year. If you're just starting your Penn State journey, we welcome you to explore the 2+2 program at another campus.

Some students choose to remain at one campus for all four years, while other students spend their first two years at one campus and transition to another for their remaining two years. With 20 Penn State campuses, the options are nearly endless. Some choose the 2+2 plan for the chance to stay close to home, while others do it to save money after checking out the cost savings—there are many awards and scholarships that help make a Penn State Fayette education affordable. In fact, up to 90% of our students receive some form of financial aid.

If you're a 2+2 student, you'll want to make sure that you are on track to meet the entrance to major requirements for your chosen degree. That's why Penn State Fayette has the Student Success Center.

The Student Success Center provides a welcoming environment conducive to academic success and discovery. Students can seamlessly transition between personalized resources for free academic planning, professional development, and tutoring support.

Student Life

There are numerous opportunities to get involved on campus, as a club or organization officer or member. We partner with other campuses on events such as Martin Luther King Day of Service, All U Day, and Council of Commonwealth Student Governments (CCSG), all of which will help you meet other students who are part of the 2+2 plan.
