Penn State Fayette Advisers are committed to providing students with individualized support and empowering students to make informed decisions about their academics. Advisers are available to assist students with academic exploration; academic planning; navigating university tools, resources and policies; and identifying personal goals and developing a plan to meet those goals.
All students are assigned an academic adviser within their program or a closely related field. This adviser serves as their point of contact and should be consulted frequently, especially when registering for classes and making academic decisions. Assigned advisers can be found in LionPath. If an assigned adviser is not listed, please contact the Student Success Center by calling 724-430-4119
In addition to a student’s assigned adviser, the Student Success Center houses professional advisers who are available to assist any student on campus. Professional advisers offer drop-in advising during which students can stop in for quick advising questions. Alternatively, students may schedule appointments for more in-depth advising conversations.
