Outreach and Continuing Education

Penn State Fayette’s Outreach and Continuing Education unit serves individuals, organizations, and businesses in Fayette, Greene, Washington, Westmoreland, and Somerset Counties by providing a variety of training programs to meet individual and corporate needs.

Our goal is to facilitate learning opportunities which meet the academic, vocational, and social needs of learners of all ages and to enrich the cultural, recreational, and professional development of our communities.

Our programs are offered through direct delivery, blended instruction, and online programming at convenient locations and times to accommodate a varied spectrum of learners.

Center for Community and Public Safety (CCPS)

The CCPS is a leading provider of first responder and health and safety training. Delivers customized programs for EMS service providers as well as business and industry.

Professional Development and Personal Enrichment

We are committed to providing professional development and personal enrichment courses, as well as continuing education units required for renewal of professional licensures. Non-credit courses are offered to the lifelong learner wishing to enhance their knowledge in a particular area of interest. Workforce professionals can take non-credit courses to maintain credentials, up-skill to leadership roles, or advance their current skills to be more marketable in a changing economy.
