This program is for health care professionals preparing to become personal care home administrators and/or administrators and direct-care staff who must meet continuing education requirements. This program addresses issues surrounding personal care homes as well as the responsibility to provide safe, humane, comfortable, and supportive residential settings for adults who don't require long-term care facility but do need assistance or supervision with daily living activities and other physical and mental life skills.

*Course will be video-conferenced from Penn State Greater Allegheny Campus.

DPW Orientation—All program participants who wish to practice must attend the DPW orientation in addition to the 100 hours of classes. This orientation is held the first day of class, March 6, 2018.
