Penn State Fayette is one of Penn State University's international campuses. More and more students from around the world are considering our campus an ideal location to begin their Penn State education, because we offer academic excellence in a small, nurturing, intimate setting.
Penn State Fayette is located near Uniontown, PA, a city of 10,000 residents roughly 50 miles from Pittsburgh. Our campus is in a rural section of southwestern Pennsylvania and is home to nearly 700 students. Our low student-to-faculty ratio allows you to receive personal attention from experienced, world-class Penn State faculty. Our campus boasts newly remodeled and renovated facilities in a convenient, safe, and beautiful environment. Also, off-campus student housing at Penn State Fayette is available.
At Penn State Fayette you have the option of staying at the campus to complete your degree in several four-year baccalaureate or two-year associate degree programs. Also, Penn State Fayette serves as a direct pipeline to the largest campus in the Penn State system, University Park, as well as other campuses across the state. You can begin the first two years of any of Penn State’s 275+ majors at the Fayette campus before completing the final two years at another Penn State campus. This is called the 2+2 Plan and it is the most common path to a Penn State degree.

International student applicants are students who require any type of visa in order to attend Penn State. The University enrolls thousands of international students from over 130 different countries.
