Biography
Valerie Vanderhoff, DNP, RN, CNE is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Penn State Univerisity for the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at Fayette, the Eberly Campus. Dr. Vanderhoff helps lead and coordinates the simulation lab and critical care coursework at Fayette. In addition, she is involved on committees involving technology integration; nursing curriculum; justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI); and is the current Penn State Simulation Committee Chairperson.
Dr. Vanderhoff has co-authored a Penn State course that focuses on 3D printing, healthcare, engineering, and art. She also holds interests in alternative therapies in healthcare, disaster preparedness, and interdisciplinary educational exchanges. Dr. Vanderhoff has presented at the local, state, and national levels. Dr. Vanderhoff is passionate about educating the next generation of learners through a variety of technologies and welcomes opportunities to speak to audiences in all disciplines.
