There will be opportunities this month at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus for prospective students to visit and apply, as well as to attend special programs on financial aid and the University’s College of Agricultural Sciences.
The FAFSA Completion/Application Session, scheduled for Feb. 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Eberly Building, will explain the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is required to apply for loans and grants from the U.S. and state governments. Attendees should bring their Social Security and driver’s license numbers, W-2 forms, and 2015 federal income tax returns. An admissions counselor will also be on hand to answer questions about applying to Penn State.
A program for high school seniors interested in agriculture will take place Feb. 16 between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in Room 110 of the Eberly Building. Jenneth Layaou, director of campus enrollment and retention for Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences will help students explore career paths, the majors offered by the College, and how they can begin working on an agricultural sciences degree at Penn State Fayette with the 2+2 plan. There will also be opportunities to tour campus and to complete a free application for Fall 2017 admission.
The Presidents’ Day Application Session, which will be held Feb. 20 between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in room 110 of the Eberly Building, will feature individual appointments for those wishing to apply to Penn State. Official transcripts are required to complete the application. There will be campus tours at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.
