Leadership Fayette: Leadership development opportunity debuts in Fayette County

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, has partnered with the Fayette Chamber of Commerce and the Fay-Penn Economic Development Council to offer a nine-month program on leadership development. Business-minded individuals seeking to improve their leadership skills may apply below.

Leadership Fayette has been established to educate, connect and empower emerging leaders in Fayette County. The program is an immersive experience with business and industry tours accompanied by workshops on topics such as successful branding, business ethics, and the intricacies of corporate culture.

Beginning in August, this nine-month program is held once a month at different business locations throughout Fayette County. Each daylong session will include a tour and networking opportunities with local businesses and industries, followed by interactive workshops facilitated by professionals using real-world business scenarios. Participants will enhance their understanding of differing leadership perspectives, problem-solving techniques, and communication styles.

Leadership Fayette is accepting applications at leadershipfayette.com. The program is limited to 15 participants, and registration will remain open until Aug. 1. The $1,000 registration fee covers the cost of the program and includes lunch at each session. Participants who complete the program will also earn Continuing Education Unit credits awarded, by Penn State Fayette, contributing to their professional development. Additionally, their host company will receive a $300 rebate.
