LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — The Student Nurses’ Association of Penn State (SNAPS) and Health Services staff at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus collected hygiene items benefiting local youth throughout Fayette County.
Baskets were placed around campus with a list of suggested donations between Feb. 17 and March 24. Collected items included toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, cotton balls and swabs, travel-size shampoo and body wash, razors, shaving cream, lotion, laundry detergent, tissue packs, lip balm, makeup, and hair care items such as combs and brushes.
Once processed, the donations will be delivered to the Fayette County Family Council, a local organization that provides resources and works to eliminate barriers families may face in creating positive experiences for their children.
