The Admissions and Athletics departments at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus invite students interested in playing team sports to an Athletic Recruiting Day Dec. 3.
Having won two Penn State University Athletic Conference championships in volleyball and cross country just this fall, the Fayette campus is known for its fiercely competitive teams.
Students enjoy many opportunities to participate in athletics, including intramurals. Women can play volleyball and softball, while baseball and wrestling are open to men. The cross country and golf teams are both co-ed, and there are also men’s and women’s basketball teams.
Attendees of the Athletic Recruiting Day will meet coaches and players, get admissions information, stay for lunch, and then watch the Penn State Fayette Roaring Lions women’s and men’s basketball teams take on Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
