Penn State is a geographically dispersed institution with campuses across Pennsylvania, each providing the same high-quality education as University Park, but at a location that's right for you.
Choose between nine baccalaureate and five associate programs offered at Penn State Fayette or begin coursework on any of Penn State’s 275+ programs following our 2+2 plan.
Join us for Spend a Summer Evening. Meet our dedicated staff, tour across campus, and explore academic programs with a picnic-style meal with ice cream from the Penn State Berkey Creamery!
Our 2+2 plan allows students to start their first two years of college at one of Penn State's campuses and then transfer to another, including University Park. This gives students the chance to save money, stay closer to home, and experience a smaller environment before moving on to complete their degree.
Our athletes have been recognized at the highest individual level, winning United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national Player of the Year and Student-Athlete of the Year awards.
But we're not only focused on the court. The Student Athletes Graduate and Excel (SAGE) program provides academic coaching, ensuring their success and emotional well-being. The cumulative grade-point average for our athletes is consistently above 3.2, meaning they play their sport without missing out on classwork that develops marketable skills which could attract lucrative job opportunities.
Our student activities calendar is packed with exciting events. You'll enjoy whitewater rafting, live concerts, amusement parks, and annual trips to New York City, just to name a few. Best of all, these events are provided by The Office of Student Affairs and are typically discounted to $10, with some exceptions.
With more than fifteen clubs and student-run organizations to choose from, you can build your resume and make friends based on your interests.
Whether you want to advocate for change with the Student Government Association, explore the great outdoors with the Outing and Adventure Club, or take a stand against childhood cancer with THON, the world’s largest student-run philanthropy—there's something for everyone.
