Penn State nursing students engage in a hands-on learning exercise at a simulation lab.
LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — The Admissions Office at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, invites prospective college students and their families to the Nursing Exploration Day on Feb. 24.
The event is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a nursing degree close to home. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet nursing faculty, tour advanced facilities and simulation labs, and get their admission questions answered. Additionally, a $65 application fee waiver will be offered to those who haven't applied yet.
Event Agenda
- 9–9:15 a.m.: Check-in and Refreshments
- 9:15–9:30 a.m.: Welcome Remarks
- 9:30 a.m.–Noon: Programming including insights into what makes Penn State Fayette Nursing unique, an overview of the admissions process with a fee waiver for attendees, and an interactive tour of the nursing facilities.
- Noon–1 p.m.: Optional Campus Tour
