LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, will host the second annual Benefit Fayette fundraiser event at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, in the Community Center on campus.

The evening’s theme is “Magical Masquerade,” featuring a cocktail hour, silent and live auctions, musical performances by Joe Materkowski and Abacus Jones, a performance from illusionist Joseph Réohm, and dinner provided by the Historic Stone House. The Community Center will be transformed into a nightclub.

The inaugural event, held in 2016, yielded nearly $200,000 in scholarship funds for Penn State Fayette students. All proceeds benefit endowed and non-endowed student scholarship funds at Penn State Fayette. Lori Omatick, director of development at Penn State Fayette, organizes the initiative.

“The monetary gifts raised last year have made scholarship funds available for students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend Penn State Fayette,” said Omatick.

Faculty, staff, alumni and community members are welcome to attend. The ticket price is $100 per guest. Cocktail attire is recommended. Call 724-430-4190 to RSVP by Oct. 2.

For out-of-town guests, a limited block of rooms is available at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and the Hilton Garden Inn. Book before Sept. 22 and ask for Penn State’s “Benefit Fayette” rate.
