In 2022, the Eberly Foundation and Penn State committed funds to commission a bronze sculpture of Reverend James Lawson, Jr., renowned tactician of nonviolence within the Civil Rights Movement, to be installed at the Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus on June 22, 2024.
Dedication of the Reverend James Lawson Statue
Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
Reception will be held in the Community Center and the Fountain Patio area starting at 1:00 p.m.
Dedication of the bronze sculpture will be in the Library at 2:00 p.m. and also live-streamed at https://fayette.tiny.us/FAN
