The CEO Conversations series returns Oct. 19 to Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus with guest speaker Mark Kempic, president of Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Inc. and Columbia Gas of Maryland, Inc., both subsidiaries of NiSource Inc., a Fortune 500 energy holding company based in Merrillville, Ind.
Carolyn Castor Garver, a 1986 graduate of Penn State’s bachelor of science degree program in nursing, received her employer's annual Patient Safety Award twice in the past five years. In September, the College of Nursing Alumni Society recognized her as someone who exemplifies the spirit of nursing and a commitment to the college's ideals and philosophy.
The College of Nursing's Shirley Novosel Distinguished Nursing Alumni Award was established in 1996 in memory of Shirley Leister Novosel, a 1979 graduate of the Nursing program, who passed away in 1994.
The University is hosting a Town Hall from 3-5 p.m. Sept. 28 in the Pavilion Theatre at University Park. The meeting will be livestreamed for faculty and staff members at all Penn State campuses to view.
