HDFSA is an organization of students at Penn State Fayette interested in the human services field. Many of the members are HDFS majors, but Criminal Justice, LAS, and EDU majors are also welcome. HDFSA provides students the opportunity to meet with other students with similar interests/concerns, network with those in the human services, and become leaders in their field. It also provides students educational opportunities through conference attendance and involvement, and students gain experience through community activities. The goal of HDFSA is to increase the professionalism of students, in order to gain the respect of and to secure job placements for students in the human services field.
