Corporate Communication

Discover the Corporate Communication program at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. Hear from faculty and students about this dynamic, multidisciplinary field. 

Corporate communication is a dynamic discipline that involves the coordination and management of communication across various channels. Corporate communication majors become competent in the areas of public relations, corporate social responsibility, marketing communication, and corporate branding. Taking into consideration factors such as corporate identity, corporate reputation, or message consistency, they coordinate an organization’s internal and external communication.

Corporate communication majors at Penn State Fayette receive cross-disciplinary coursework in business, information systems, and human behavior. Students build strong oral, written, and visual communication skills. Students acquire a foundation in business administration and complete coursework in a variety of other fields, including communication arts and sciences, English, information science and technology, and psychology. An internship prepares graduates to succeed in the job market.

Students acquire jobs in a vast array of job sectors that call for knowledge of strategic communication to help organizations connect with both internal and external key constituencies.

Students might also consider minoring in Business, English, or Psychology to showcase the breadth of their skills.
