LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, has been selected to host the 2023 and 2024 USCAA Volleyball & Cross Country Small College National Championships. This prestigious event will bring together the finest small college teams from across the country to compete for national titles in these exhilarating sports.
Athletic Director Stephen Oberly III expressed his excitement, stating, "We've been looking forward to this opportunity for some time. With our history and capacity to host large-scale sporting events, we are incredibly excited to create another premier championship experience for volleyball and cross country student athletes."
Penn State Fayette has a long-standing relationship with the USCAA and has hosted the DI and DII men's and women's basketball championships for 11 years. The championships will take place over several days in the fall of 2023 and 2024, drawing visitors and participants from around the nation and creating an electrifying atmosphere on campus.
"We are thrilled to bring the USCAA Championships back to Penn State Fayette," said USCAA Chief Operating Officer BJ Bertges. "Their dedication to our National Championships over the last decade made bringing new championship sports to the area an easy decision."
The selection of Penn State Fayette as the host site for the USCAA Volleyball & Cross Country Small College National Championships highlights the campus' commitment to athletics and the student-athlete experience. With a state-of-the-art Athletics Center and a variety of athletic programs, Penn State Fayette is dedicated to preparing its student-athletes for success on and off the field.
