Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus inducted students into Pi Sigma Phi, the campus honor society, in a ceremony attended by friends and family on April 13, 2023.
The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at Penn State has been awarded a $2 million grant by the Bedford Falls Foundation, resulting in the creation of more than 30 scholarship awards each totaling $40,000.
Charles E. Hunnell, of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, has pledged $200,000 to establish the Florence Vernon Hunnell Scholarship at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus.
Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, has announced that Charles E. Hunnell will be the keynote speaker for this spring’s commencement ceremony. This event will be held on May 6, inside the Community Center.
On April 1, five nursing students from Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, were inducted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. The new inductees are Austin Brundege, Donata Heckman, Sarabeth Miner, Tara Rankin and Mya Shawley.
Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus on April 12 released the results of a survey of students’ experiences with and attitudes about sexual misconduct, including a finding that 12.3% of students reported being the victim of at least one instance or attempt of sexual assault. The results are part of a comprehensive University-wide survey conducted last fall.
