At Fayette campus, protesting violence against women

For a third year, Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus will host local participants in the One Billion Rising campaign, the world’s biggest mass action to end violence against women, Feb. 14 at 12:15 p.m. in the Williams Building’s Swimmer Hall.

Together serving, then studying at Fayette campus

Lauren and Esteban Esteban fell in love three years ago while serving in the Army as Stryker combat vehicle mechanics in Washington. After leaving the military in 2016, the couple and their two young girls moved to Lauren’s native southwestern Pennsylvania and immediately started working on their civilian future.

Students gather on Fayette campus for Day of Service

Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus hosted 75 students from the University’s western campuses on Jan. 16 for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, an annual opportunity to perform acts to benefit communities. Besides Fayette, Beaver, Behrend, DuBois, Greater Allegheny and New Kensington also participated.
