Fayette campus students donate summer wages to West Virginia hospital

Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus is known for its impressive fundraising for Penn State’s Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, having been the first campus to raise more than a million dollars for children with cancer. Demonstrating that concern for sick children does not stop at the state line, however, six undergraduates from the Fayette campus donated part of their summer paychecks to the Children’s Miracle Network at West Virginia University Children’s Hospital.

Center for Community and Public Safety wins contract renewals from state

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) has awarded two contracts totaling more than a million dollars to the Center for Community and Public Safety (CCPS) at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus to develop courses for about 1,300 constables and 2,500 deputy sheriffs throughout Pennsylvania, it was announced today (Sept. 14).

Fayette campus to hold scholarship fundraiser

The Community Center at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus will be transformed into an elegant nightclub setting the evening of Oct. 15 for Benefit Fayette. This scholarship fundraiser will feature delightful entertainment, dancing, and a variety of delicious foods by the Historic Stone House.

Continuing Education classes offered for adult learners

Both businesses and individuals can benefit from the variety of educational offerings available beginning in October from the Office of Outreach & Continuing Education at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. Take a full series or an individual class—either on-campus or in the workplace—taught by faculty with extensive business and research experience. The course fees begin at $45, although most cost less than $135.

Shakespeare festival returns to Fayette campus

The annual Shakespeare Festival at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus will feature the National Players touring theater company in performances of The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, as well as a non-Shakespearean play, The Giver.

Fayette campus to hold Penn State Day open house

Penn State Day on Oct. 15 will provide a local opportunity for prospective students and their families to learn about academics, student life, admissions, financial aid, and more at one of the nation’s top universities. This open house will take place at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus beginning at 9:00 a.m.
