The National Science Foundation has joined in supporting Penn State’s goal of taking more of its discoveries to market by awarding Penn State a five-year, $500,000 Innovation Corps (I-Corps) grant to establish the Invent Penn State I-Corps Site in collaboration with Ben Franklin Technology Partner’s TechCelerator, Happy Valley LaunchBox, and Invent Penn State’s Innovation Hubs.
Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus will host the Mosaic Dance Theater Company on Tuesday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m at the Community Center in the Maggie Hardy Magerko Auditorium.

Fifteen local high schools sent students to be honored for their academic excellence and achievement at a ceremony on July 15 in the Community Center at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. For the seventh year in a row, the Penn State Fayette and United Bank 4.0 Club recognized students who have completed their sophomore, junior or senior year with a cumulative 4.0 grade-point average.
The Coal and Coke Heritage Center at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus will be featuring a new exhibit on the significance of mine surveying in southwestern Pennsylvania. “Mapping the Mines” provides a glimpse into mine surveying, survey equipment, and how this equipment was used. Visitors will learn how to read the basic components of a survey map depicting a mine in western Pennsylvania.
The Office of Outreach and Continuing Education at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus will offer a variety of educational enrichment camps and other academic programs for children and youths this summer.
The Invent Penn State initiative announced the awarding of four $50,000 seed grants to develop additional innovation hubs to jump-start entrepreneurial activities in campus communities across the Commonwealth. Awarded by a competitive selection process, the four grants will go to the Brandywine, Fayette, Mont Alto and Worthington Scranton campuses.
