Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, will host this year’s United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) volleyball and cross-country Small College National Champions.
At an event held on Oct. 31, leaders from the Student Philanthropy Network announced that the class of 2024 has voted to create the University Park Undergraduate Association Basic Needs Endowment as their class gift. The fund will provide sustained support for students facing hardships in pursuit of their degree.
Penn State Fayette has partnered with the Institute for Study Abroad to launch a study abroad program for nursing students in Mérida, Mexico, from March 1 to 9, 2024. The program offers a 3-credit web class on creativity, faculty-led academic sessions, cultural excursions and logistical support, including host family accommodations.
Penn State Fayette will host its 51st annual Shakespeare Festival on Oct. 24 and 25, featuring "Romeo and Juliet" performances by the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and the Linny Fowler WillPower Tour. The event, held in the Hardy Magerko Auditorium, is free and funded by the Maggie Hardy Magerko Auditorium Endowment.

Starting Oct. 6, Michele George partners with Penn State Fayette for a free six-session nutrition program. Covering food preparation and healthy eating, the program offers in-person and online options. George, a Penn State alumna and Nutrition Education Adviser, encourages inquiries for eligibility. She's also noted for campus artwork.
