Charles Patrick, chancellor and chief academic officer of Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, today announced the hiring of Dean Julian as director of enrollment management.

Together serving, then studying at Fayette campus

Lauren and Esteban Esteban fell in love three years ago while serving in the Army as Stryker combat vehicle mechanics in Washington. After leaving the military in 2016, the couple and their two young girls moved to Lauren’s native southwestern Pennsylvania and immediately started working on their civilian future.

Students gather on Fayette campus for Day of Service

Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus hosted 75 students from the University’s western campuses on Jan. 16 for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, an annual opportunity to perform acts to benefit communities. Besides Fayette, Beaver, Behrend, DuBois, Greater Allegheny and New Kensington also participated.

Fayette campus class does good deed for local charity

Jody Wells of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is always seeking workers for the charity’s second-hand store in downtown Uniontown, but for the past year she had another mission: finding somebody to redesign the organization’s “boring” website that drew few visitors and no new volunteers.

Fayette campus students restore historic painting

A 1964 painting of George Washington’s local grist mill that had long been displayed inside the Fayette County Courthouse recently got a much-needed touch-up, courtesy of some student volunteers from Patrick Daugherty’s ART 010 class at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus.
