Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus hosted its 13th annual Scholarship Donor Dinner on Nov. 16. The annual event is an opportunity for scholarship donors to meet student beneficiaries and their families.
In October, the campus community dedicated Penn State Fayette’s new Outdoor Student Lounge — a project led by the Student Government Association and funded by Penn State’s Student Initiated Fee.

A new mobile Penn State id+ card is anticipated to launch in January 2023, allowing students to use their mobile devices to conveniently, safely and securely access campus housing facilities, purchase meals, and more.
The Eberly Foundation, in partnership with Penn State, has commissioned a bronze sculpture of prominent Civil Rights icon the Rev. James Lawson Jr. to be installed at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus in late 2023. American sculptor Vinnie Bagwell was selected to complete the work.
Penn State students, faculty and staff with older versions of the id+ card are being asked to submit new photos ahead of re-carding events that will be held University-wide during the spring 2023 semester. There are multiple ways to submit a photo, and photos will be accepted from Nov. 7 through Nov. 23.
Charles E. Hunnell, of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, has pledged $200,000 to establish the Florence Vernon Hunnell Scholarship at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. The scholarship, named for Hunnell’s late mother, will benefit full-time students at the campus, with preference given to Greene County residents.
GO Laurel Highlands, the official destination marketing organization for Fayette, Somerset and Westmoreland counties in southwestern Pennsylvania, is funding an annual scholarship at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, for the next five years.
